Cold-drawn vent channel steel used as spacer bars between laminations, forming stable radial ventilation ducts in motor cores.
Request a QuoteProduct Overview
Motor ventilation channel steel, also known as vent spacer bar, is a small cold-drawn profile welded between stator or rotor laminations to hold a fixed gap and form radial ventilation ducts in the motor core. ERQI New Materials draws this channel section in-house, so height, wall thickness and edge quality stay consistent from bar to bar - the key to keeping the duct spacing even after the core is stacked and clamped.
Why Section Consistency Matters
Vent spacer bars are welded by machine at high speed. If the channel height varies, the ventilation duct narrows or opens unevenly, which changes the airflow and the temperature rise of the finished motor. Our cold-drawing process keeps each bar within a tight tolerance band and delivers straight bars that feed reliably into automatic welding lines.
